Excellent Budget Hotel in the heart of Bengaluru

I and my spouse stayed in this Hotel for three days in February, 2018. The Rooms were booked at a discounted rate for a wedding we had gone to attend in the city. The Room, we stayed in was quite spacious with nearly all facilities expected of a decent family Hotel. The Air conditioning was adequate. There are two Restaurants attached to the Hotel. Also, Room Service is available for food. Complimentary Breakfast is served in a Dining Hall. The items are, however, quite limited in variety as well as in quantity. Lunch and Dinner served in the Room/ Dining Halls were rather sumptuous and affordable. Room Service was excellent and personalised. Toilet was clean and spacious. TV provided in the Room was strictly OK with limited number of Channels. The Telephone in the Room could be used only for making calls but not for receiving.

One of the cheapest you can find in Bangalore. Conveniently located adjacent to CMRIT, opposite Airport Authority and close to Cosmos Mall. Lots of options in and around for dining including McDonalds, Taco Bell etc 3 liquor stores also close by. Breakfast is included in the hotel stay, they will serve two popular Indian breakfast options with a cup of tea. I stayed here for two days, on day one they had idli (rice cakes non-sweet) and aalu paratha (potato stuffed Indian bread made of wheat flour) for breakfast, on the second day they kept upma (Semolina cooked with vegetables) and puri (Fried Indian bread made of wheat flour). No complaints on the taste and flavor, it was okay. Frankly for the price they charge 1,200 Rs per night (20 USD) I was surprised to get free breakfast. But this was the corporate rate provided to my company, not sure it is offered to individuals. The room itself was average, good size but it had a smell, the kind where cleaning does not happen daily. Although it was clean. The AC will not cool much but it works. I found it difficult to sleep due to a lingering smell in the air, its not a stench but smell of a room that isn't cleaned for long. I am rating them low since I could not sleep much for the two nights. The room usually comes equipped with a mini fridge. Bathroom was clean but had a gaping big hole in place of the sinkhole, towels again had a old smell, but it was clean. The sheets and pillows were not good, few had black stain on it they made sure the black stained sheets are facing down so that you dont see them, pathetic. I wouldn't have minded if they charged more and provided better maintained rooms, bathrooms and sheets

I have visited KN on business trip in Jan 2015. I will list all my experience as pros and cons: Pros: 1. The service was very quick. 2. The food served at lunch and dinner was decent. Cons: 1. The floor was dusty. They do not clean the room properly unless you check into the room (How i know? :The next day, the floor was clean). 2. You do not get free Wifi. You get a LAN port and cable in the room, which you can connect it to your laptop. People carrying the smartphones, please also carry your laptop, if you are thinking of using the hotel internet. 3. Most of the LAN ports are broken or in very bad condition. 4. The breakfast (complimentary) which they serve in terrible. 5. The maintenance was also terrible. Two of the light bulbs were not working when I checked in, which they replace the next day. 6. The cleanliness of the bathroom was below average. 7. My ventilation fan in the bathroom was not working. All in all, my experience was terrible. I would not recommend this hotel.

I have been visiting KN, since 2011. 2014 stay comparatively worse than before. Toilet not clean, age old towel (white turned shabby yellow color).No teapot in room with teabags available. Broken Internet sockets, etc.I used to refer KN to my colleagues, now I will not with the low maintenance. Should do something else will not be preferred anymore.

Convenient for those who relocate to Bangalore

Hi, I stayed in this hotel from 30th Sept to 6 Oct, 2013, as I relocating from other city & my new company is in nearby locality. Hotels, restaurants, mall, hospital, petrol pump all these things are very close this hotel. Even you will get BMTC buses very easily from here. Room service is quite fast. I found it quite safe for ladies also. Only issue is that, if you get room facing towards one residential complex(spring beauty) you can not open curtains of window. At the reception and in the lift, I always get a smell of the kitchen, as Zaika restaurant is just below the hotel rooms. Also there is on Pub on ground floor.
